    Mission Statement

    To provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. 

    The Bedminster Township School District mission statement is published in school policy #2110. All school bylaws, policies, and regulations are located under the Board of Education on the Administration tab of this website.

    School Vision

    Increase student achievement by challenging students to reach their highest potential, provide staff with the knowledge, professional development, resources, and freedom to actualize the vision, and monitor and measure student progress. This will be done by analyzing the academic distance traveled by each child while remaining consistent with the NJ Quality Single Accountability Continuum.

    Education is a shared responsibility of students, parents, school, and the community; and the school will commit to the accountability, communication needed, and commitment to meet the ever-evolving needs of students.

    Goal 1 Student achievement

    Math - provide support for students to reach their highest level of proficiency 

    Milestones

    • Provide remediation supports to students before and after the day

    • Maximize academic distance traveled for each child utilizing multiple measures

    • Increase individual student standardized testing outcomes based on Performance Levels 1 - 2 (increase by 20%), Approaching Performance Level 3 (increase by 10%), and Meets and Exceeds Performance Levels 4 -5 (increase by 5%)

    English Language Arts - writing across content areas 

    Milestones

    • Increase writing opportunities across content areas  

    • Improve skills of restating, answering, citing and explaining

    • Justify point of view based on text evidence

    • Provide more experiences with journal writing

    • Increase individual student standardized testing outcomes based on Performance Levels 1 - 2 (increase by 20%), Approaching Performance Level 3 (increase by 10%), and Meets and Exceeds Performance Levels 4 -5 (increase by 5%)

    Goal 2 Citizenship and well-being 

    Positive environment and culture building that enhances well-being and responsibility

    • Appropriate use of technology to support digitally responsive citizenship

    • Identify and improve student tardiness and attendance 

    • Encourage inclusivity and kindness for all
